I've continued my KettleWorx videos. I went from using a 5lb KettleBell to an 8lb KettleBell, and I restarted the videos back to week 1. It's a pretty big difference increasing the weight by 3lbs, it definitely adds more resistance. I'm ready for it though. I'm ready to challenge my body, and be a stronger better me.
I've lost about 15lbs so far, and I feel great. I'm sticking to the KettleWorx, but I've also added additional exercises in between my KettleWorx.
My "diet" is probably the best its ever been. (I hate to use the word "diet", because it's really just my eating habits.) I eat really healthy meals, by mostly substituting the bad ingredients for good ones, or by looking up new recipes off of people's blogs on pinterest. Because I'm learning to cook and prepare foods that taste really good, I'm not craving those crappy foods anymore. I also cook in bulk, so that when I don't have the time to cook and I'm super hungry, I don't run to the nearest fast food place, I just heat up some great left overs.
I'm really grateful for those people on Facebook that have been supportive of my progress. It feels really good to start getting compliments again.
When I was at my biggest, I would do my hair and makeup perfect, and get all dressed up to go out, and not one person would complement me. Its a really horrible feeling when you spend all that time on yourself and no one notices. But, I know I can't really blame anyone but myself, I'm just really glad people are taking notice of my progress.
I know that it's not always easy to start working out or to get in better shape, but it feels so good once your workouts are done for the day, and you really start seeing the progress in your body. I've only been loosing 1-2lbs a week, but that's good enough for me! I don't care if I loose 1lb a month that's still 1lb down from where I was last month.
If I could give everyone a little dose of how I feel right now, I'm positive it would change people's lives.
You really do look awesome! i applaud you for being a stay at home mom,a wife, and getting those workouts in! Taking care of a child all day is a full time job in itself! Keep up the good work momma!
