I consumed way to many calories this weekend!!!! I've been thinking that I have to do more to increase my weight loss. Dont get me wrong, I'm still feeling the burn from the KettleWorx. But, I'm also feeling stronger, and motivated to do more. I'm going to do some walking on the days I'm not doing KettleWorx, because I just feel like I need to keep moving. The KettleWorx excersises are great, and I can feel myself building muscle.... but I feel like I need more cardio. Now I'm not saying I'm going to jumo on the treadmill everyday, and run 5 miles, but I'm going to try to add it whenever I can for as long as I can.. I just need something more.
I'm also going to start cutting calories. A few months ago I dropped about 10lbs, by limiting my calories to 1200 a day. I lost the 10lbs in a couple of months with NO EXERCISE. I hate cutting cals, because in the beginning for about the 1st week I would feel hungry ALL THE TIME!!! I know that you get use to it after awhie, but it doesnt help that my husband has the metabolism of a racehorse, and wont do it with me. I made him promise me that he could eat as much food as he wanted, as long as he ate when I ate. So that way, I wouldn't be tempted to eat when I wasn't hungry. He agreed, and even lost some weight himself. I now have to convince him to get on board again. I'm sure that most of you know that people that dont struggle with their weight would find this totally unnecessary.
If anyone is interested in cutting calories too, then I would suggest using the phone app My Fitness Pal. You can scan the barcode of any package of food, or search it by name, and it'll give you the exact nutrition facts. You add that to your food log with the number of servings, and BOOM it's done. You dont have to add up points or fuss with bringing a journal everywhere.
Okay here we go . . . Let's kick this into high gear!!
